Denise and Chris | St Leo the Great Catholic Church Wedding, Fairfax, VA | Fairfax Wedding Photographer

I am delighted to share Denise and Chris’s beautiful summer wedding at St Leo the Great Catholic Church and their family estate in Fairfax, Virginia with you today! Denise and Chris shared with me that they met and decided it was true love in their College Vector Calculus class. After 9:10 pm class they started an impromptu salsa dance class in the hallway! So, it was such a perfect choice for the bride to wear a pair of white Salsa shoes on her Wedding Day!

The couple chose a classic church ceremony at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church in Fairfax, Virginia. The beautiful “Ave Maria” was sung from the church balcony while the mothers were seated. Denise and Chris faced family and friends as they exchanged their vows. From the balcony the organist played Toccata from Organ Symphony No. 5. The adorable ring bearers and flower girl brought great joy to the wedding procession. Denise and Chris placed the bridal bouquet at the foot of the Blessed Mary after the ceremony.

An intimate outdoor reception was held at the family estate in Fairfax, Virginia under a tent draped canopy. Red and white lanterns strung from above and rows of twinkle lights. Each table was adorned with a glass filled with a floating red rose. The backyard garden reception setting was lovely with flowers and hostas and dappled sunlight filtered through large old oak trees. The reception was joyous with champagne and dancing into the night.

Hilton Garden Inn Fairfax Virginia Wedding Photographer

I loved everything about Jennifer and William’s Spring Wedding at the Hilton Garden Inn in Fairfax, Virginia. It was so gorgeous with a merlot red and gold color theme. The groom wore his dress marine corps military uniform and the bride’s wedding gown was embellished with a flowing red sash. The couple’s First Look was so intimate in the lovely courtyard as Jen tapped William on the shoulder. A sweet moment happened during the wedding ceremony when the bride and groom gave their mother’s each a single yellow rose in honor of Mother’s Day!

Springtime is finally here and the cherry blossoms are in bloom. I photographed this Bridal Styled Shoot for the Hilton Garden Inn, Fairfax, Virginia to celebrate the Spring season. The Flower Gallery of Manassas owner, Doug created a beautiful bouquet of coral roses and hydrangea blossoms to grace our bride’s hands. The Wedding Gown from Bobbies’s Bridal Boutique is a Jasmine ball gown with a sweetheart neckline adorned with beaded Alacon Lace with chapel length train. The color palette was soft and elegant with shades on taupe, coral and ivory. The coral parasol was a beautiful feminine element and the lighting was so soft and beautiful.

My last Wedding of the Year and it was amazing! Erin and Darcy’s Wedding was held at St. Timothy’s Catholic Church and the Hilton Garden Inn in Fairfax, Virginia. I became friends with Erin and Darcy earlier this year when I met them at the Winery at Bull Run for their Engagement Session. They are both adorable and fun! We could not have asked for a better December day as it was sunny and the lighting was gorgeous. Congratulations Erin and Darcy! Your Wedding was beautiful! Enjoy your honeymoon in Puerto Rico! xo

Cabell’s Mill | Centreville VA Wedding – Lenka and Brian

It was such a delight to photograph this beautiful couple’s Wedding Day at Cabell’s Mill and Walney Pond in Centreville, Virginia. The November day was breezy and chilly but the warmth of their love was like a ray of sunlight on the Virginia countryside. The bride’s lovely bouquet of pink and white roses was by The Flower Gallery in Manassas. The Bridal Gown from The White Swan was Moonlight Couture in Ivory and Blush Pink. Hair and Makeup was done by The Red Door Spa in Reston, Virginia. Thank you for the honor of capturing your wedding day. I witnessed the joy of knowing that you have found your soul mate.

Gilroy Photography loves Weddings at the Hilton Garden Inn in Fairfax, Virginia. The couple had an Elegant Lavender and Grey Wedding and Reception at the Hilton Garden Inn in Fairfax, Virginia. The Outdoor Ceremony was lovely held in the perfect Courtyard with a beautiful fountain surrounded by florals. The Ballroom was elegant with Lavender Lighted walls and Lavender Sash bows on each chair.

Old Town Alexandria Wedding – at Sheraton Suites and St. Mary’s Catholic Church

They had their Wedding ceremony at the beautiful and historic St. Mary’s Catholic Church which is the oldest Catholic Church in the Commonwealth of Virginia. St. Mary’s is located in Old Town Alexandria, Virginia on S. Royal Street. The couple had their Wedding Reception at the Sheraton Suites in Old Town Alexandria followed by a Sunday brunch at Murphy’s Irish Pub. Gilroy Photography loves Wedding Receptions at Sheraton Suites. This Old Town Alexandria Wedding was so special with the color theme of green, and exquisite music played by professional musician friends from the balcony at St. Mary’s Catholic Church and Ava Maria was sang by the groom’s sister and it was magnificent. After the recessional a bagpiper dressed in traditional Scottish kilt played as the couple thanked their guests.
