This Spring I captured the e-session for the sweetest couple, Fernanda and German. It was fun getting to know them walking the paths in the Smithsonian Institute Gardens in Washington, DC.

This Spring I captured the engagement session for the sweetest couple, Fernanda and German. It was fun getting to know them as we walked the paths in the Smithsonian Institute Gardens in Washington, D.C.
They met Thanksgiving day and have been together for 10 years and recently got engaged! German proposed after an Italian dinner at the MGM near National Harbor. The couple was walking around the lobby area, when German told Fernanda to close her eyes as there was, “someone who wanted to see me” When she opened her eyes, he had managed to get both families there and they were holding posters asking her to marry him!! She said YES!
Fernanda wore a blue & yellow sundress while he wore white and denim which were perfect as their wedding colors will be Navy Blue and Gold which were his Soceer team colors! They were naturals in front of my camera and slayed the e-session. When I showed her the back of the camera during the session, as I often do with couples…. She said, Oh I love them all!!!
Today’s post is all about the pretty!! After your wedding day comes the culling and editing of thousand of images, I send my couples a usb of all edited digital images and a online passcode site to share with friends.

Julia and David were married on a gorgeous sunny day in October with blue skies and a gentle breeze! Talk about a PERFECT Fall Wedding in Washington, DC!! Julia was radiant in her Pronovias gown and David was dapper in his classic black tux. I was honored to photograph at The St Regis – the gorgeous ballroom and the Astor Terrace capture that old world style of elegance!

I absolutely adore these two! Their laughter and joy is contagious! I got to know Mike and Susy photographing their Middleburg engagement session and knew right away their wedding would be amazing! This wedding may be one of the most relaxed and joyful weddings ever. Their ceremony was held at the Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church, a little white church in Chantilly, Virginia. The church lawn was a perfect setting for bridal party portraits after a beautiful ceremony.
The couple held their cocktail hour at the Hilton accompanied by the guitar soloist Steve Ferguson. Their reception was rockin’ at the Hilton full of so much love and laughter of friends and family from near and far! The brilliant red bridal bouquets and red heart accent with black formal attire made for a gorgeous wedding day!

I couldn’t wait to share a sneak peek of Candra & Eric’s engagement photo session! I had so much fun with these two lovebirds in historic Old Town Alexandria!
It started out as one of the hottest summer days, but as we starting walking the streets of Old Town Alexandria there was a slight breeze and the temperatures cooled a bit as we approached Prince Street. Candra and Eric just naturally make one another smile. It’s so fun to walk around with a couple that you feel like you have known for a really long time! We talked about the wedding, how they met, and how he proposed, and what they are most excited about. These two will be getting married at the beautiful Piedmont Club in the Spring of next year!

The quaint historic town of Middleburg was the ideal setting for this relaxed and fun loving couple’s engagement session. We visited the Goodstone inn, The Red Fox Tavern, The Stray Fox, and the sidewalks and cobblestone streets to Main Street. We ended our day stopping at the Greenhill Winery on the way out of Middleburg enjoying the breeze up on the hill overlooking the mountains and grapevines. Susie and Mike’s engagement session was full of fun and laughter on this gorgeous summer day full of dappled sunlight and warm breezes.
Today I am sharing the absolutely stunning Wedding of Gina & Sebastian at the elegant Westfields Marriott in Chantilly, Virginia! I can say that this is going to be one of my classic Gilroy Photography weddings of all time! The couple chose Coral & Navy colors and a beautiful setting with classic architecture and lovely details! This wedding was coordinated by Monica at Westfields Marriott and attention was given down to the simplest details. The gorgeous blooms by Rick's Flowers and the magnificent cake and miniature cakes for each guest were lovingly created by the groom's amazing brother Jesse. Every detail was considered to make this a magical day filled with family, friends & love.
